After visual and messaging rebranding — and a new branded name — our accounting firm client in Kansas needed its website to reflect the new brand. This included brand messaging incorporated into site content and maintaining search engine rankings. We were asked to maintain the same web design template, but give the website a more modern and inviting look. It is a true rebranding of their online presence.
Rebranding and SEO Strategy
As part of the rebranding, the accounting firm website needed up-to-date mobile device compatability, search engine optimization, ADA compliance and GDPR marketing opt-in messaging. The firm wanted to make sure that technical aspects of the site were compliant behind the modernized design.
With the transfer of existing copy over to the new site, our team added search engine keywords, meta data and branding key messages to services and industry pages. Bios were designed with new photos and a new format. The home page received a complete new design with sliders, new copy and testing for mobile optimization.
The firm’s blog design is also updated. This required additional stylizing to introduce each blog on the new grid-style page.
For ADA compliance, we recommended and made sure that the website’s videos include captioning. All images also have alt tags and descriptions. This step helps the website rank better with major search engines because ‘bots can now “read” all the images.
