Since 2017, LBMC has produced an annual Business Outlook Report. The report is based on a C-suite survey that highlights trends in the industries that they serve. Through data collection from the survey and the firm’s subject matter experts, LBMC’s marketing team works with Ingenuity’s research, communications and design team to bring it across the finish line.

Evolving Outsourced Services

Early on, our team supported general editing and organization of the report’s content along with graphic design support. We also consulted on public relations and rollout of the report to LBMC’s audiences. Most subject matter experts wrote their own insights to share in the report, and we provided editing guidance and layout recommendations in various formats (e.g., PDF, PPT, social posts, etc.).

In recent years, we have taken over more analysis of the survey results and additional research to inform the report’s business insights. We provide independent research and help LBMC’s team identify areas for subject matter experts to add their insights. We support ghostwriting, editing and theme concepting for the report. We also help the marketing team develop a powerful visual design while maintaining brand consistency across materials.

Results

In addition to producing the report for clients and prospects as a significant piece of their annual marketing, LBMC partnered with the Nashville Business Journal in 2023 to host an Economic Outlook event, through which their report findings were highlighted in presentations and panels.

The firm has also received multiple press mentions in accounting and business journals for the survey report insights and conclusions.

Throughout the year, the marketing team can leverage report content by sharing key insights across their marketing channels.
