Carly seeks harmony. If she isn’t organizing the house or the school papers for her two daughters, she is at work wrangling a schedule, a video or social media calendar. After several years in executive administration and elementary education, she is nimble and proactive.

Drawn to marketing through her love of creativity, Carly works with Ingenuity’s team to maximize media, brainstorm on client projects and build systems for more harmonious workflow. She loves collecting new facts or data to make communications and processes work better.

Carly prefers to look on the bright side of life and work. If trouble is brewing, she is usually the first to recognize an opportunity to calm the storm. Just ask her family. Her newest easy button? The meal kit. Her husband loves following the recipes, and she loves the results.

Describe a good day for you.

Any time I can be outdoors is great. I would start with coffee outside, read a book, then hang out with my kids in the nature reserve behind our house. I would take a joy ride in my Jeep without its topper to feel the sun and breeze. We would have steak for dinner, and I would finish the day with a glass of wine with my husband.

Where is the coolest place you have traveled?

My grandmother was a big traveler, and she took seven of us to the Galapagos Islands when I was 20 years old. We swam with sea lions and met a Galapagos tortoise. We stayed in remote locations and ate crazy things like grubs.

What is something unique about you?

I am ambidextrous, so I have a hard time knowing my right from my left! I am also hypermobile. I’ve had 30 orthopedic reconstructions to support my joints. I can still do the splits.

What is your definition of an amazing client relationship?

I like working with clients who are willing to give feedback on our ideas, people who are collaborative and with positive attitudes. They don’t just give feedback on the negatives. They are encouraging.

Do you have any personal goals you would like to share?

My mom was in the best shape of her life at 40. I would like to get back to that and build muscle after having two children. Workouts have always been a good stress reliever. I played soccer through college, and I would love to get back on a league.
